Short Description:

PZ673H pneumatic cast steel knife gate valve, the opening and closing part is a gate. The movement direction of the gate is perpendicular to the fluid direction. It relies on a blade-shaped gate capable of cutting fibrous materials to cut off the medium. The gate has two sealing surfaces. In the most commonly used wedge gate valve, if higher medium tightness is required, an O-shaped sealing seat can be selected to achieve bidirectional sealing. Knife gate valves have small installation space, low working pressure, are not prone to debris accumulation, and have lower costs.

When the knife gate valve is closed, the sealing surface can be sealed solely by the medium pressure, that is, the medium pressure presses the sealing surface of the gate against the seat on the other side to ensure sealingthis is self-sealing. Most gate valves use forced sealing, meaning that when the valve is closed, external force is required to forcibly press the gate against the seat to ensure the tightness of the sealing surface. This type of valve is generally installed vertically in pipelines.
