Short Description:

The D71X-16Q wafer butterfly valve is a type of valve with a disc-shaped butterfly plate as the opening/closing component, which can rotate around the inner axis of the valve body. The wafer butterfly valve is mainly composed of the valve body, valve stem, butterfly plate, and sealing ring. The valve body is cylindrical with a short axial length and contains an internal butterfly plate. Driven by the valve stem, the butterfly plate can be rotated 90° to open or close and control the flow of the medium.

Features

1.The groove type valve seat can ensure accurate connection between the valve body,valve seat,and butterfly plate,and it is also very convenient to replace the valve seat,which helps to prevent the valve seat from being rubbed up and deformed due to improperinstallation.

2.The O-shaped sealing ring of the valve seat is directly embedded in the valve shaft hole of the valve body.When the valve stem is inserted into the butterfly plate hole through a connected “O”-shaped sealing ring,the connected ”O” · shaped sealing ring expands outward and tightly contacts the valve body. ensuring that in the event of internal leakage,the medium will not flow between the valve body and the valve seat,leading to accidents such as valve seat locking or valve seat bursting.

3.The organic combination of narrowband sealing ring and spherical butterfly plate  ensures that the torque of the butterfly plate does not increase before closing: The valve seat reduces friction,reduces opening and closing torque,extends  the service life of the valve seat,and ensures that the opening and closing torque of the valve does not change for a long time.

4.The middle thrust connecting rod prevents the possibility of the lower valve stem detaching from the valve body due to frequent vibration caused by external forces.

5. The convex circle on the valve seat can prevent the possibility of severe deformation of the valve seat and a sharp increase in valve torque in the event of incorrect installation.It can also prevent the occurrence of valve seat creep during opening and closing due to impurities adhering to the valve seat surface after a period of use.

6.The sealing surface of the valve seat flange adopts a structure with large wide edges and large arcs,which allows the valve to fully adapt to various flange connection requirements such as sleeve fit and butt welding.
